Reflections on the “No Kings” Rally in Pearland
This past weekend, I had the privilege of attending the No Kings Rally right here in Pearland — a powerful and peaceful gathering that reminded us what true democracy looks like.
Throughout the event, I met with nearly 100 individuals from across Brazoria, Harris, Fort Bend, and Galveston Counties. People from every walk of life came together not in anger, but in unity — to affirm our belief that this nation belongs to its people, not to any one ruler or ideology.
As I began collecting signatures for my campaign, I was struck by how many folks shared the same simple sentiment: we love our country, and we want it to work for everyone. That’s the spirit that drives me and the heart behind this campaign.
We live in a nation without kings, and there should be no fear in saying so — unless, of course, such “kings” truly exist. The rally was not about division, but about reminding one another of the promise of freedom and equality that built this country.
I want to sincerely thank the organizers and volunteers who made the event possible. Their hard work, coordination, and commitment to peaceful civic engagement are what keep our communities strong.
In Pearland, we proved once again that love of country isn’t partisan — it’s personal.
